Custom Wedding Invitations

the INVITATIONS
you dreamed of

Everything you need to know about designing your wedding invitations and the paper goods that follow.

The first piece of paper your guests will hold. The first hint of the color palette, the season, the feeling of the day. The piece your mother will tuck into a drawer and pull out twenty years from now.

This is the page that walks you through what it's like to design that paper with us, from the first conversation to the final envelope sealed and stamped.

THE PROCESS

Designing a wedding suite is one of the quietest, most personal parts of planning a wedding day.

heirloom

THE EXPERIENCE

Selecting your wedding stationery should feel like the rest of your planning.

Enjoyable, considered, and a little slow on purpose. Your paper is the first glimpse your guests will have of your wedding day, and the keepsake you'll hold long after the last dance.

What follows is exactly what working with us looks like. From the first inquiry, through the design process, all the way to the moment your invitations arrive on your doorstep, sealed, addressed, and ready to mail.

Congratulations. This season of your life is one to be celebrated and savored.

“The most considered paper we have ever held.”

“Our guests still ask who designed our invitations a year later.”

“Working with her was the easiest decision we made all year.”

You begin by filling out a short inquiry form telling us about your date, venue, and the vision you're already imagining.

We'll reach out within two business days to introduce ourselves, ask a few questions, and invite you to schedule a call if it feels like a fit.

INQUIRE

step one

NEXT —

We hop on a short call to get to know each other, talk through your vision in detail, and make sure we are the right fit. This is where your ideas start to take real shape.

Come with inspiration, come with questions, or come with nothing at all. By the end of the call we will have a clear direction and a plan that feels like you.

Discovery Call

step two

NEXT —

Within a few days you will receive a custom proposal outlining your suite options, pricing, and timeline. Everything is built specifically around your wedding, your aesthetic, and your budget.

Nothing is templated, nothing is rushed. You will know exactly what you are getting and exactly what to expect before anything moves forward.

The Proposal

step three

NEXT —

Once you approve the proposal and your deposit is in, the creative work begins. You will receive initial concepts to review, and we refine together until every single detail feels exactly right.

This is a collaborative process and your feedback is always welcome. Most clients go through two to three rounds of revisions before we land on something that genuinely takes their breath away.

Design

step four

NEXT —

Before anything goes to print you will receive a detailed final digital proof of your complete suite. This is your opportunity to review every word, every layout, every finishing touch, and every small detail with complete confidence.

Nothing moves to production until you have given your full approval and feel completely at ease.

Your Approval

step five

NEXT —

Your suite goes into production with our trusted print partners who specialize in fine art and luxury stationery.

Every piece is carefully printed on the papers and materials we selected together, finished by hand where needed, and quality checked before it ever leaves the studio. This is where everything becomes real.

Production & Printing

step six

NEXT —

Your finished suite arrives at your door beautifully packaged, protected, and ready to send. Every envelope, every insert, every detail accounted for and wrapped with the same care that went into designing it.

All that is left is dropping them in the mail and watching your guests fall in love before they even arrive at the ceremony.

From the moment she sent over our first mockup, we knew we were in the best hands. Every detail felt intentional, like she had somehow crawled inside our vision and made it more beautiful than we ever imagined.

Working with Emily changed the way I thought about what a wedding invitation could actually be.

We almost skipped a full suite and just did digital. I am so glad we didn't. Emily walked us through everything without any pressure, and what she delivered made my mom cry the second she opened the box.

Hiring Emily was the best money we spent on our entire wedding. It wasn't even close.

Questions

frequently asked

Do you offer day-of wedding paper goods and reception signage?

Yes. We design menus, place cards, programs, table numbers, welcome signs, seating charts, and bar menus, often produced on paper, acrylic, mirror, or hand-painted wood. Most couples book day-of paper three to six months before the wedding as a separate project from their invitation suite.

When should I order my save the dates and wedding invitations?

Save the dates go out six to nine months before your wedding. Invitations are mailed six to eight weeks before the day, which means most couples place their full order four to five months out. Use our order timeline above to find the exact dates for your wedding month.

How many design revisions are included in a custom suite?

Every custom package includes unlimited digital proofs and three rounds of full design revisions, which is more than enough for almost every couple we work with. We never charge for refinements within the normal scope of your project.

How long does the custom wedding invitation process take?

The full custom invitation process typically takes four to six months from inquiry to mailed envelopes, with six to eight weeks of design and proofing followed by six weeks of production and assembly. We recommend inquiring eight to twelve months before your wedding date to give the process the time it deserves.

Do you ship wedding invitations internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Most suites are mailed to the couple first for a final review, and we can also coordinate direct mailing to guests in multiple countries for destination weddings.

Do you offer rush wedding invitation orders?

Yes, on a limited basis when our schedule allows. Rush timelines compress the process into six to eight weeks total with a rush fee added. We encourage couples needing a rush order to inquire as soon as possible so we can confirm availability.
